Dial-up: Setting Up in Vista
Windows Vista currently does not allow the use of .INS files that we use to setup your dial-up internet connection, instead, please follow the below guide;
- Click on the Start button, and from the Start menu, select 'Connect To'.
- The 'Connect to a Network' window should then appear. Click on the 'Set up a Connection or Network Link', which can be found towards the bottom of the window.
- In 'Choose a Connection Option', select 'Set up a dial-up Connection'. Then click on Next.
- A window similar to the below should appear.

- Enter in your username and password, along with one of the below dial-up numbers (depending on which you are subscribed to);
Unmetered number: 0808 9916234
Pay as you go: 0844 0570652 - Tick the 'Remember this Password' box so you do not need to enter it again in the future. Once all the information has been entered, click on Connect.
- The 'You are connected to the Internet' message should then appear if the connection stages were completed successfully. If you click on 'Browse the Internet Now', your Internet browser will open.
